We are Auntora Mehrukh Azad and Anannya Mehpar Azad, twin sisters and co owner founder artists of

The Malachite Casket,

Dhaka.

Each of our hand painted designs is unique. With each design , like any artist, we leave a part of our identities on the attires. Starting from sarees to dupattas to lehengas and to painted wooden clutches - all the items are designed and developed in our studio. From the initial sketch to prototype, everything is handled solely by us. The hand painted sarees, which are the signature mark of our venture, are mostly made of silk or muslin.
